Adoption Fundraiser

As many of you know, it has long been a dream of ours to adopt a child and provide for them a loving family. We are in the process of adopting a child or children from Colombia. We have completed all the paperwork necessary for the home study and are waiting for the completion of the actual home visits by a social worker. We have also sent a letter of intent to Colombia and have completed the application for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Once our home study is complete we will begin completing our dossier, which is the application to Colombia. The entire process is estimated to cost $25,000-$30,000. To help raise some of the necessary funds, we have decided to offer for purchase a collection of photographs taken by Brenda. All of the proceeds from the sale of these photographs will go toward our adoption process.

Flower 5 The series of photographs is a study of the exquisite form and vibrant colors of flowers around our home. There is nothing particularly exotic or special about the flowers. Rather, it is Brenda’s keen eye through a macro lens that reveals a level of beauty that escapes casual observation. Brenda is going to be periodically adding more images to this collection, so we welcome you to revisit this page from time to time.

The professional-quality prints are 10” x 15” and are matted on black, museum-quality rag for 16” x 20” frames. Each print costs $150, a price that includes shipping. To order, email us at davis@davisflydesigns.com.
